New Holiday Layout
  Posted By: keir dullea online |      4 Comments

As you likely can tell there’s a new layout up for the holidays. The theme as if you didn’t know is from Keir’s 1974 film BLACK CHRISTMAS. Yeah I know it’s a little dark for the holidays but I thought we’d enjoy a little bit of Peter Smythe for a while. I’m currently working on the layout for the New Year, but this one will be up until at least the middle of January. I hope you enjoy it I know I did creating it. If you were here in the wee small hours of the morning you’d have noticed some hinkiness going on with the gallery. I was trying to get the colours right and my computer chose an inopportune time to crap out on me. Fortunately I was able to get things back up and running and complete the colour coding. I felt like a was dealing with HAL-9000 for a while this AM. I had visions of having to squeeze into my laptop’s harddrive and disconnect it. If it had started singing “Daisy, Daisy” I’d have thrown it over the balcony. Except for a few tweaks there you go. Let me know what you think.

    Teeheehee I love this new layout! So fitting for the season! Great job! Peter looks happy for the holidays, or at least in one picture he is ^^;

    Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I thought it was fitting to use the film as a layout design. Peter looks yummy to me. Nichole and I were talking a couple days ago about that part where Peter breaks the ornament on the tree. I’d say Peter would have been on Santa’s naughty list don’t you?

    Thanks for your comment.

    Just want to say thank you for this site. Anything is fine with me, as I’m not a whiz at the computer.
    May you all have a wonderful christmas holiday season!

    Forgot to mention that I have “Black Christmas” on tape. Did you hear when Steve Martin mentioned that he saw this movie multiple times, sicne it’s a favorite of his?

    Al:

    Thank you for your post. It was my pleasure to create a site on Keir. He’s such an underappreciated talent and I really thought there needed to be a site dedicated to him on hte web. With the likes of younger and lesser actors getting the ‘web’ treatment I wanted to make sure Keir was out there.

    Happy Holidays to you too. I hope all goes well and you and and your family are safe and stay strong through 2013. Best to you.

    I have BLACK CHRISTMAS on DVD. I would like to get the special edition of it but there’s little with Keir in the extras. It’s all John Saxon and Art Hindle. I would really love to have heard what Keir had to say about making the film and his character of Peter. And no I didn’t hear that about Steve Martin. that’s cool though.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Dianne
