ODYSSEY ~ KEIR DULLEA ONLINE @ keirdullea.org is a website dedicated to the work of American actor Keir Dullea. I am in no way affiliated with his person, his management, nor his family. Content contained within are subject to fair use and used here either in whole or in part as a commentary on the work and career of Keir Dullea.
Keir has a new film coming up on HBO. It is a remake of the Ray Bradbury novel FAHRENHEIT 451. Keir will be playing the part of the Historian. Not sure when this is coming up, but looks like soon since HBO has released a teaser. I’ll keep you posted.
According to Dread Central, Keir’s film BLIND DATE is finally being released on Bluray. According to this source the disc will be loaded with extras. Here’s hoping another audio commentary from Keir. More below the cut.
Slithis, Night Angel, and Blind Date on Their Way to Blu-ray
That brings us to Nico Mastorakis’ 1984 hi-tech giallo Blind Date, coming soon to Blu courtesy of Scorpion Releasing. If you have never seen it, this one is most definitely out there:
A man goes blind when remembering his lost girlfriend, but the doctors can’t find anything wrong with his eyes. They fit him with an experimental device that allows him to see with the aid of a computer interface and brain electrodes. Meanwhile, a taxi driver is taking young women up to their apartments, giving them gas, and performing a little fatal amateur surgery on them. Their paths inevitably converge, and the blind man must try to stop the psychopath.
The device that allows him to see in what I’ve always referred to as “Tron-Vision” looks like a slightly modified Sony Walkman. Truly wacko in the best way possible.
Joseph Bottoms, Kirstie Alley, Lana Clarkson, James Daughton, Keir Dullea, and Marina Sirtis round out the surprisingly impressive cast for this sci-fi slasher, which was written and directed by cult Greek filmmaker Nico Mastorakis. The movie’s biggest claim to fame may very well be that it marks one of Kirstie Alley’s only nude scenes. So, for all your Saavik fans out there, purchasing this one is most definitely the only logical decision.
Scorpion Releasing has unveiled tentative box art for Blind Date with word that they hope to load this disc up with cool extras. Expect a release date announcement shortly.

I have two new recent events of Keir’s to post. Both have to do with the TCM Classic Film Festival. In the first Keir is alone in a discussion panel on the screening of DAVID AND LISA held on April 08, 2017. The other is an event both Keir and Mia attended celebrating the TCM Film Festival. Keir looked very dapper and Mia looked very elegant in black.

Keir’s show THE PATH as officially renewed for a third season by Hulu. According to Flickering Myth, a third season has been ordered. Not sure if Keir will be in it. I’m hoping we get confirmation via Keir’s wife Mia at the Facebook Group The Keir Dullea Appreciation Society. Considering that Keir’s character of Meyer is a figment of both Eddie (Aaron Paul) and Cal’s (Hugh Dancy) imagination, and the fact that Keir’s scenes are relatively short, here’s hoping Dr. Meyer ‘lives’ to see another season.
Hulu has renewed The Path for season 3
April 13, 2017 by Samuel Brace
The Path has been picked up for a third season by online streaming service Hulu.
The series revolves around a creepy cult headed by Hugh Dancy, and how Aaron Paul as a reluctant believer copes with his family being so intricately tied up in what’s goes on there.
Season two of the show debuted back in January with a two part premiere, and now we have news that Hulu has decided to pick up the series for a third season.
Showrunner Jessica Goldberg will return to the same duties for season three, and will also executive produce with Jason Katims and Michelle Lee.
With Hulu obviously having the goal of emulating the incredible success of Netflix, The Path is key to them forging ahead with their line up of original series to compliment their library of third party entertainment.
The season two finale of The Path can be caught on Hulu stating today.
I’ve completed Keir’s season two THE PATH episodes. Here are Return and Defiance. I have screencaps and stills from both episodes plus a “superclip” of all of season two. There will be another post after this with an announcement.
