A really good review for THE PATH‘s pilot episode What the Fire Throws. Keir of course plays the part of Dr. Stephen Meyer, who we got a glimpse of at the very end of the episode. Enjoy.
I have Keir’s first episode of THE PATH uploaded to the gallery. His scene was pretty small and relegated, as he sometimes is, to a bed hooked up to medical monitors. The only thing missing is the Monolith. My jury is still out on the show. I’m hoping his role might be expanded to be something more than just a cameo, but we get to see him nonetheless. The only thing that icked me out was that snake. My god how did he have that thing on top of him. If you’re visiting Keir, please make a comment. Screencap below.

The first of the promotional part of THE PATH is starting to trickle out. I have the first promotional poster for you. Keir’s not on it, but I thought I’d include it.
Another of Keir’s many television appearances. This time it’s from 1972 and the show McMILLAN & WIFE starring Rock Hudson and Susan St. James. Keir played the part of tortured jazz musician Buzz Simms who is being plagued by his own self doubt and by a blind critic who seems to not like Mr. Simms. There’s a key to the identity of the critic in that both parts were played by Keir, the latter in a very fuzzy beard. He’ll break your heart in the end. This is the first of a number of updates coming to the site. I’ve collected quite a few stills and event images I’m hoping to get into the gallery in the coming days, as well as a new layout. I’ve also been working on another project I’ll be revealing when the new layout goes up.

Keir appeared in a BBC series called THE REAL HISTORY OF SCIENCE FICTION talking about 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY and Stanly Kubrick. So far he’s done two episodes and I’m not sure if he’ll be in the rest or if there will be a series two. Considering his age Keir is looking mighty fine. The only thing I’d change is that beard! It looks like a small animal ate his face. His features are far too fine for that kind of beardage. Though if he’s still performing in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, then it’s understandable. Either way Keir is still compelling to watch and compelling to listen to.
