A really good review for THE PATH‘s pilot episode What the Fire Throws. Keir of course plays the part of Dr. Stephen Meyer, who we got a glimpse of at the very end of the episode. Enjoy.
I have Keir’s first episode of THE PATH uploaded to the gallery. His scene was pretty small and relegated, as he sometimes is, to a bed hooked up to medical monitors. The only thing missing is the Monolith. My jury is still out on the show. I’m hoping his role might be expanded to be something more than just a cameo, but we get to see him nonetheless. The only thing that icked me out was that snake. My god how did he have that thing on top of him. If you’re visiting Keir, please make a comment. Screencap below.

There’s more news coming out about Keir’s new film VALLEY OF THE GODS. See below…..
Edited: Keir is starring in this film alongside Josh Hartnett. I don’t know if anyone has seen Josh in the Showtime psycho-sexual series Penny Dreadful, but he’s amazing as the American gunslinger Ethan Chandler. If you’d like more information on the show, please click on the button in the sidebar to go to my site for the show. It’s in the Family Sites section and the bottom rectangular button. Enjoy.
Valley of the Gods: Fantasy Film Casts Berenice Marlohe and Keir Dullea
Apparently in the works for years, the upcoming Valley of the Gods continues to add to its already-impressive cast in a low-key manner that belies its ambitious aspirations. Now, the project will add a stunning former Bond girl and a man who famously tangled with a rogue computer in the depths of space in one of science fiction’s most iconic films.
According to Variety, Berenice Marlohe and Keir Dullea will join the conceptual fantasy film as characters not yet known. The film will be filled with supernatural themes and Navajo mysticism set in the arid American Southwest, specifically the titular sprawling Utah desert valley. Valley of the Gods has already nabbed the likes of Josh Hartnett, Johnathan Rhys-Davies, Joseph Runningfox and the celebrated Charlotte Rampling.
Valley of the Gods will be directed by visionary Polish helmer Lech Majewski (The Mill and the Cross), depicting the story of a legendary but eccentric Navajo figure (played by Hartnett) who also happens to be the richest man on Earth. However, he also seems to possess the ability to alter reality; something that problematically complements his wildly vivid imagination. The film will reportedly split its narrative between three characters across America who will find themselves battling the supernatural phenomenon presumably caused by Hartnett’s character.
For Marlohe, Valley will be one of a handful of gestating major film roles after breaking out as the sultry Severine opposite Daniel Craig in the ultra-lucrative 2012 Bond outing Skyfall. While her docket has been relatively thin in the last three and a half years since that film hit, it’s ready to pick up, notably with a role in Terrence Malick’s upcoming musical drama Weightless, joining an embarrassment of riches cast made up of names like Christian Bale, Michael Fassbender, Natalie Portman, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mars, Benicio Del Toro and a lot more.
Keir Dullea, on the other hand, is a prolific actor who has remained on the periphery on the big and small screens after having made an indelible impression as the stranded protagonist David Bowman in Stanley Kubrick’s bellwether 1969 space science fiction epic 2001: A Space Odyssey. He was recently seen in 2006’s The Good Shepherd with the likes of Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie and the 2014 low-key 2001-inspired comedy Space Station 76 with Patrick Wilson and Liv Tyler.
Valley of the Gods has yet to pin down a release date. However, filming is reportedly set to commence this summer in Poland, Utah and Italy, which technically makes it 1/3 of a spaghetti western.
I’ve finally gotten around to screencapping Keir’s role as Murray Stuart in the film INFINITELY, POLAR BEAR where Keir played the part of Mark Ruffalo’s father Murray Stuart. Keir was quite funny in this role and I loved his chemistry with the always wonderful Ruffalo.
The first of the promotional part of THE PATH is starting to trickle out. I have the first promotional poster for you. Keir’s not on it, but I thought I’d include it.
