Keir & Mia At The Westport Women’s Club
Posted By: keir dullea online |      1 Comment

Keir and Mia were at the Westport Women’s Club today and we have two revelations. One is that Keir said, “it never occurred to me that you could get paid for having fun.” And from Mia we learn she is a licensed acupuncturist. I’m wondering if that is how Mia is keeping Keir looking so youthful. If anyone has anything else from this event please feel free to post in comments.

  • [ 001 ] EVENTS: 03/04/2013 – KEIR & MIA AT THE WESTPORT WOMEN’S CLUB

Well known husband and wife theater and film performers Keir Dullea and Mia Dillon told approximately 100 attendees at the Westport Woman’s Club today of their theatrical careers. Dullea, referring to his early youth introduction to the theater, said, 'it never occurred to me that you could get paid for having fun. In addition to theater talk, Dillon said she is also active in a part-time career as a licensed acupuncturist in Manhattan. She pursued that career when Meryl Streep once told her that women in their 40s and 50s do not get many roles. 'That’s when I got the idea that i ought to pursue another interest— acupuncture,' she said. - Dave Matlow for

So that’s what Keir looks like this year! Thanks for this Dianne! I remember reading somewhere about Mia’s acupuncture, though I can’t remember for the life of me where I’ve read it lol! But thanks to this article, I now know she took this up because of what Meryl Streep said (funny for her to say that, she still acts in a lot of movies for her age! And many other 40 and 50 year old actresses! )
